NOSE Notebook is operated by Agility Automations. This policy describes how information is used to provide your fragrance library, bottle scanning, scent profile and AI advisor.

Information we collect

Account information includes your email, display name and a hashed password. Your library can include saved fragrances, scan photos, ratings, impressions and optional comparisons. We use the messages and conversation context you send to NOSE AI to answer your requests.

We collect app activity such as screen visits, scans, saves and recommendation requests to understand usage and retention. Operational records help us monitor reliability and limit abuse. We do not need precise location or access to your contacts.

Support and partnership forms

Forms collect your name, contact email, message and, for brand applications, your brand, website and optional role. These details are stored in a private admin inbox to handle your request and follow up. They are not published in the fragrance catalog or used as a marketing subscription. Please do not submit passwords, payment details or identity documents.

How information is used and shared

We use your information to operate your account and library, personalize fragrance advice, identify bottles, improve reliability and respond to requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers include Neon for database storage, Vercel for the website, backend and saved scan-image storage, OpenAI for AI processing, and Expo for app delivery and updates. Relevant scan images, messages and scent-profile context are sent to OpenAI when needed to provide those features. Provider processing and retention are subject to their service terms.

Retailer links open third-party websites. Their privacy policies apply when you visit or buy from them; NOSE does not receive your payment-card details through those links.

Retention and control

Account and library data are retained while your account is active. Usage events are eligible for cleanup after 90 days, and AI quality records after 30 days. Support and partnership correspondence is stored separately from your account while we handle and keep a record of your request; you can ask us to review it for deletion.

You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and associated library entries and saved scan photos. Limited records or backups may remain where needed for security, disputes or legal obligations.

Use our account-deletion page to request removal without the app. Use our support form for access, correction or other privacy requests. We may need to verify ownership before releasing or deleting account data.

Children

NOSE is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us through the support form.
